- Keep the shallot butter chilled until ready to serve.
Grill Method
- Preheat grill to high heat.
- Season steak lightly with salt and pepper (optional, as butter adds flavor).
- Grill for 4–5 minutes per side for medium-rare, adjusting time for preferred doneness.
- Rest steak for 5–10 minutes before slicing to retain juices.
- Top with shallot butter just before serving.
Pan-Sear Method
- Heat a heavy skillet or cast-iron pan over high heat with a little oil.
- Sear steak for 3–4 minutes per side until browned.
- Reduce heat to medium and cook to desired doneness.
- Rest for 5–10 minutes.
